“The plan on global industrial assistance for Taiwanese Enterprises (全球台商產業輔導計畫)” schemed by the Department of Investment Services, Ministry of Economic Affairs (經濟部投資業務處) has been carried out by implementing the regulations of assistance for overseas investment and technical co-operation (國外投資或技術合作協助及輔導辦法). Taiwanese entrepreneurs are instructed to exploit and allocate resources well, cooperate with other international manufacturers and have global vision. This plan actively assists Taiwanese entrepreneurs to enrich themselves with business management insights which may help solidify and enhance Taiwanese industries.
This plan is going to help Taiwanese entrepreneurs to reach the following goals with the approaches of professional consultation and diagnosis on business management and quality techniques, training programs and providing investment information.
Assist Taiwanese entrepreneurs to apply business management concept and industrial techniques to solidifying the operation structure.
Develop international operation and management professionals to improve the quality of human resources of Taiwanese enterprises
Collect the information about Taiwanese entrepreneurs’ needs and expectations for reference while drafting policies
Build an information exchange network for Taiwanese entrepreneurs and keep their spirits up

Rapid Globalization Development and rigor market competitions have pushed many countries to work very hard on improving leadership and strategies, action plans and organization operation effectiveness in order to enhance competitiveness. After 1990s, the world economy was impacted by liberalization and globalization; many countries were very stressful to cope with competitions. Therefore TQM Total Quality Management was introduced and started. National quality awards were also granted to promote the improvement of business operation and results and develop excellent enterprises. As of present, there have been nearly 50 countries and regions where national quality awards are granted and most of them present “Excellence Model (卓越經營模式)”. This may instruct enterprises to carry out operation strategies and quality improvement. |
